Well, it looks like the cybergods have taken a little pity on me: RodFrisco.com seems to be working today. How long will this respite from Server Hell last? Who knows?
In the meantime, I will have a chat and updates from the PIAA Team Wrestling Championships all day from Giant Center … with two caveats.
The first is that I will not not be doing real-time updates. The PIAA has instituted a real-time web publishing policy that is fee-based, which means anyone who wants to give the equivalent of an online play-by-play must pay a fee. In the three-kids, child-support world of a semi-retiree, this means delayed updates. However, if Central Dauphin and Canon-McMillan reach Friday night’s Class AAA semifinals, I will pony up the fee and go live for that match.
The second caveat is that I will have District 3 duties today at some point, which means my updates will be interrupted sporadically. I will announce my absences, which should be fairly brief.
I will have a link to the PIAA’s official live update page, which in essence are the box scores produced by the fine gents at Escape Sports, on all of my posts throughout the tournament:
