The fine folks at easternpafootball.com have offered this video of Saturday’s Gateway at Bishop McDevitt game.

The video is 6:36 and shows mostly offensive highlights, a bit unfortunate in this case since both defensive fronts were so impressive. You will see and hear a couple of the ferocious hits that were meted out on Saturday. There’s a pretty harsh lick by Gateway’s Armstead Williams on McDevitt RB Jameel Poteat about the 2:15 mark.

Don’t skip past past the pre-game coin toss. The players gathered for the toss have either committed to Division I schools, or are future Division I or I-AA (yeah, I know: FCS or FBS) players: McDevitt’s Matt Johnson (11), Jameel Poteat (10), Noah Spence (9) and Sean Barowski (32) and Gateway’s Armstead Williams (21), Dondi Kirby (3) and Gregory Coleman (10). Coleman is the only one whose playing future might be below Division I.
