If you’re on the site today, it probably means you didn’t get what you wanted this morning.

I certainly hope that’s not the case.  What I hope you received this morning, as every morning, is the warmth of family, the joy of giving and the love of God and loved ones.

I celebrate with you the birth of Christ and the message of salvation.  If nothing else, it’s a day to draw closer to family, friends and God.  And yes, I still spell Christ and God with capital letters.  Always will.

May the peace of our Lord be with you.

(Oh, and I updated the PIAA football playoff records, filling in some blanks while I watched the Hawai’i Bowl last night. I’m a sick man, but I don’t need help.)

Merry Christmas!

If there’s one thing I’m totally geeky about, it’s records, specifically PIAA championship records. I’m not sure it’s the life my parents envisioned for me, but they can’t complain too much. They got three granddaughters out of the deal.

Here are the updated PIAA Football Championship Playoff Records, which you can use as a soothing balm after you’re done flipping out over the all-state football teams.

For your viewing convenience, records established or tied this past season appear in red. All-time records appear in blue bold italics.
